Aflubin Tablets Dosage and Administration
The dosage of Aflubin Tablets remains the same regardless of the type of disease, with only the frequency and duration of use differing. The recommended dosages are as follows:
- Infants up to 1 year old: 1 drop or 1/2 tablet
- Children from 1 year to 12 years old: 5 drops or 1/2 tablet
- Adolescents from 12 years and adults: 10 drops or 1 tablet
For the first two days of influenza and acute respiratory infections, the medication can be taken up to 8 times a day. Afterward, it is recommended to reduce the frequency to three times a day. The treatment duration typically ranges from 5 to 10 days.
To prevent influenza, it is advisable to start taking Aflubin at the beginning of the cold season or approximately one month before the anticipated peak in cases. During regular prevention, the medication should be taken twice a day for a duration of 3 weeks.
In case of severe hypothermia or contact with an infected individual, Aflubin can be taken as an emergency preventive measure for acute respiratory infections or the flu. The recommended dosage is twice daily for two days.
For the treatment of rheumatic and inflammatory diseases with joint pain, the medication should be taken 3 to 8 times a day during the first two days, followed by three times a day for one month.
It is recommended to take Aflubin 30 minutes before or 1 hour after meals. The drops can be held in the mouth for a while or diluted in 1 tablespoon of water if necessary. The tablets should be taken sublingually by placing them under the tongue until completely dissolved. For infants under 1 year old, half a tablet should be crushed and dissolved in 1 teaspoon of breast milk or water.
Aflubin Tablets Side Effects
Based on numerous patient reviews, Aflubin is generally well-tolerated with no reported side effects when the recommended dosage regimen is followed. However, rare cases of increased salivation have been reported, which should not be a cause for discontinuing the medication. Allergic reactions may occur in individuals with hypersensitivity or intolerance to any component of Aflubin. In such cases, consulting a doctor for an alternative medication with similar action but different active ingredients is advisable. If any adverse reactions occur, seeking medical advice is important for appropriate treatment.
