Aspirin Cardio Description:
Aspirin Cardio tablets contain acetylsalicylic acid and actively inhibit blood clotting (platelet aggregation) in various situations, including:
- Unstable angina
- Acute myocardial infarction
- Preventing recurrent myocardial infarction
- Post-coronary artery surgery
- Preventing transient ischemic attacks and early-stage stroke
- Preventing coronary artery thrombosis in patients with multiple risk factors
- Preventing venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism after prolonged limb immobilization
You should avoid taking Aspirin Cardio in the following cases:
- If you have an allergy to acetylsalicylic acid, other salicylates, or any of the other ingredients
- Individuals with a history of asthma triggered by salicylates or similar drugs (such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) should also refrain from using it
- It is not recommended for those with an acute stomach or duodenal ulcer
- Individuals with a bleeding disorder characterized by frequent bruising, bleeding from the nose and gums, or prolonged bleeding from superficial wounds should avoid using it
- If you have severe kidney, liver, or heart problems, you should not take this medication
- Additionally, if you are currently taking methotrexate at a dosage of 15 mg or more per week (a medication used for cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and autoimmune diseases), you should avoid using this medicine
- Pregnant individuals in their last trimester should not use it
It is worth noting that Aspirin Cardio can potentially provoke a gout attack.
The product should not be used to treat viral infections in children and adolescents without consulting a doctor. Some viral diseases, especially the flu and chickenpox, carry a risk of Reye’s syndrome, a very rare but potentially life-threatening disorder that requires urgent medical attention. The use of Aspirin Cardio may increase the risk of Reye’s syndrome. If you experience persistent vomiting in these conditions, it may be a sign of Reye’s syndrome.
For children and adolescents, Aspirin Cardio is not recommended for use in those below 18 years of age.
