GeloMyrtol forte 300mg – Treatment of Acute, Chronic Bronchitis and Sinusitis Natural Oils

GeloMyrtol Forte is an over-the-counter oral medication that contains standardized myrtol and is used for the symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic bronchitis and sinusitis in adults and children over 10 years old. It helps regulate mucus secretion and coughing in respiratory diseases, thins thickened mucus, promotes its secretion, aids in expectoration, and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is available in the form of gastro-resistant soft capsules.

Composition of GeloMyrtol Forte capsules:

The active ingredients are:

• Standardized myrtol 300 mg
• Limonene (minimum 75 mg)
• Cineole (minimum 75 mg)
• α-pinene (minimum 20 mg)

The other ingredients include:

• Refined rapeseed oil
• Gelatin
• Glycerol 85%
• Liquid sorbitol (non-crystallizing)
• Hypromellose acetate succinate
• Triethyl citrate
• Sodium lauryl sulfate
• Talc
• Dextrin
• Ammonium glycyrrhizinate
• Diluted hydrochloric acid

Recommended dosage:

For acute inflammation, adults and children over 10 years old should take 1 GeloMyrtol Forte capsule 3-4 times a day. For chronic conditions, a maintenance therapy of 1 capsule twice a day is recommended. To facilitate morning expectoration in cases of chronic bronchitis, take 1 GeloMyrtol Forte capsule in the evening before bedtime. It is advisable to take the last dose at bedtime for better sleep.

This product is not suitable for children under 10 years of age.

GeloMyrtol Forte with food and drinks:

Take capsules 30 minutes before meals with an ample amount of cool liquid.

Although no teratogenic effects have been reported during pregnancy, especially in the first trimester, it is important to consult a doctor before using GeloMyrtol Forte. It e may pass into breast milk due to its lipophilic properties. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant, seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.

Driving and using machines:

It does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.
