What is Tantum Verde and what is it used for?
Tantum Verde contains benzydamine hydrochloride as its active ingredient, which possesses anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Upon rapid absorption and local accumulation in the inflamed tissue, the symptoms subside quickly. Tantum Verde is well tolerated locally and provides targeted therapy for inflammation symptoms and swallowing difficulties.
Applications
Tantum Verde is used for the symptomatic treatment of painful inflammations in the mouth and throat, such as gingivitis, tonsillitis, inflammation of the pharyngeal mucosa, and larynx. It is particularly effective in relieving symptoms associated with colds.
If you do not experience improvement or your condition worsens after three days, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
What should you be aware of before using Tantum Verde?
Tantum Verde should not be used if you are allergic to benzydamine or any of the other ingredients listed in section 6 of this medicine.
