  • Capsicam is for external use only.
  • For sports-related purposes as a warmth-producing product, adults should apply 2 to 3 grams using the applicator and gently massage it into the affected area until the skin becomes lightly red. After training, wash off the ointment with cool water.
  • For pain relief, apply 1 to 3 grams of ointment 2 to 3 times a day on the affected area. Adjust the amount based on the intensity of the pain. Cover with a bandage to enhance the thermal effect. A course of treatment typically requires 50 to 100 grams of ointment.
  • After each application, wash your hands with cool water and soap.
  • If you find the ointment’s effect too strong or too weak, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Overuse of Capsicam:

Applying excessive amounts of the ointment can cause severe irritation. If this occurs, wash off the ointment from the skin. If a child accidentally swallows the ointment, seek immediate medical attention. Do not induce vomiting.

Missed Dose:

If you forget to use Capsicam, apply it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next application, continue with the prescribed amount. Do not double the dose.

Discontinuation of Use:

Potential side effects:

While not everyone experiences side effects, Capsicam may cause the following:

  • Rare side effects (affecting up to one user in 1,000): Itching (pruritus).
  • Unknown frequency (frequency cannot be estimated from available data): Hypersensitivity reactions, burning sensation on the skin, urticaria (short-lived hives of varied size), swelling (edema), reddening of the skin (erythema).
  • If you experience any of these symptoms, discontinue the use of the ointment and wash it off the skin. The listed symptoms usually disappear within 8 to 12 hours after discontinuing the use. To minimize side effects, it is recommended to perform a sensitivity test by applying a small amount of the ointment.

  • Store Capsicam below 25°C.
